About Me

Hi, I'm Wei Leong from Singapore. A husband, father of two young boys, and now, a startup life coach. Like many, I wasn't always on this path. Long hours, a frustrating work environment – I knew it was time for a change.

Late 2023, I finally took the plunge and left my corporate role as a people manager. Don't get me wrong, it was a tough decision, but with my supportive spouse and a little preparation ("war chest" as I call it!), I was ready.

During my notice period, I reflected on what truly fulfilled me. It turned out, I enjoyed helping colleagues solve problems and create tools for success. That's when I discovered coaching! The more I learned, the more passionate I became.

Fast forward to enrolling in a coaching program (#CCI) and diving headfirst into this exciting new world. Books, videos, you name it – I soaked it all in. But then came the real challenge: practicing! Fear held me back from interacting with new people and practicing my skills. 

Can you relate?  Have you ever let fear of failure or judgment stop you from pursuing a dream?  It took a while, but a key realization struck me: growth comes from doing, not just reading. So, I pushed past the fear and started practicing. 

Another big lesson: communication! I used to miss opportunities for deeper connections by focusing on surface-level conversations. Now, I actively listen and observe, creating a space for others to learn and grow.
